Modelling, Process Design and Development
Glencore Technology carries out specialised modelling as part of flowsheet design for the client's facility. We use the latest smelting modelling software, combined with tailored ISASMELT™ modelling packages. This models the potential operational outputs from a range of process scenarios.
Operational experience and an extensive database of operational data from the ISASMELT™ is used to determine the most suitable process design and operating mode. The results can be verified on our dedicated pilot plant.
When required Glencore Technology can organise further development work. We have established strategic alliances with leading research and engineering organisations in order to facilitate specialist studies.
